Kaperfahrt is an open world pirate sandbox set in a simulated Caribbean during the age of sail. Players engage in naval combat, board and capture enemy vessels, and command a fleet of up to four ships that fight in formation. Trade runs between five rival houses whose economy reacts to player actions, so blockading a harbour shifts prices across the map. A bounty list of 23 named pirates, each with their own crew and fighting style, forms the long term goal. Kaperfahrt is developed by Kleinod Games, a one person studio from Germany, and is built in Godot.
